Use the Configuration dialog to set your own trading algorithms by choosing from a combination of popular indicators and oscillators such as RSI, MACD, CCI, Bollinger Bands, Stochastics, ADX, Parabolic SAR as well as Moving Average Crossovers and Moving Average Divergence. Set trailing signals or a minimum profit requirement if desired.

Use the Backtest feature to test your chosen configuration profile against the previous year's historical minute-by-minute price data for a given crypto to see how it performs. Then "tweak" your settings to increase its profitability.

Your favorite configuration profiles can be saved and loaded to/from disk. You can also save detailed Backtest results to make comparisons.

The aim of Bot Scholar™ is to beat a straight investment value by buying and selling at strategic times. Performance of your configuration is measured against the straight investment value based on the first "buy" signal. Ultimately, you want to beat the investment value during uptrends and also retain value on downtrends.

When you choose to obtain live signals, Bot Scholar™ will use your chosen configuration profile to generate buy and sell signals in real time.

You can elect to have the software also send the signals to provided URLs. For example, a trading "bot" script that you use with an online exchange account. Prices are live for several built-in popular crypto currencies and the signals are generated on minute-by-minute candles.

Additionally, you can use our totally free Bot Scholar™ companion Android app to receive the signals in real time—great for while you're at work or just out and about and want to be alerted when signals are triggered.

Note that you can use the companion app to control your copy of Bot Scholar™ and also view Backtesting and A.I. Learning activity/results. Simply install the app on your phone and link it to your copy of Bot Scholar™.

The built-in A.I. Learning functionality will examine the past year's data for the chosen crypto currency, build a set of histograms, then run multiple fast backtests to locate and "tweak" the configurations to find the best performing settings—which you can then save to your current profile.

Simply choose a currency and click to start A.I. Learning and let Bot Scholar™ do the work for you! Although the software will keep learning continuously, it should locate well performing profiles quite quickly.

We strongly recommend setting an assumed trade commission amount in your Preferences settings to keep things realistic.

It's also interesting to note that A.I. Learning with different crypto currencies can provide vastly different results. So remember to try this feature with several of the available cryptos for the best possible results!
